Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR)


The primary function of SCR catalyst in a diesel after-treatment systems (ATS) is to convert harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx =NO + NO2) in the exhaust gas to nitrogen and water. The SCR reaction takes place on the catalyst, in the presence of NH3 generated from AdBlue (Urea and water solution) upfront the SCR catalyst.


EPA advanced emissions regulations need above 95% NOx conversion levels and all Dinex SCR technologies achieve conversion levels well above this limit.


Dinex has a wide variety of SCR catalyst technologies which can be selected based on actual applications and ATS temperature levels. Typically, titanium-vanadium based technologies are suitable for applications, where the exhaust gas temperature is not exceeding 550 degrees C level. Cu-Zeolite and Fe-Zeolite technologies are suitable for conditions where the exhaust temperatures exceed well above 600 degrees C.


The most widely used SCR technology in advanced regulations is Cu-Zeolite based. The Dinex technology is typically characterized by high NOx conversion activity in wide temperature window, low NO2 formation, and very low NH3 oxidation, even at high temperature (optimal Urea utilization).

The Advanced US EPA07/10 regulations need complex after-treatment systems (ATS) to fulfill all regulatory requirements. After initial implementation in year 2007, US EPA regulations have been updated step by step over the years with primary focus on real driving emissions (RDE) and in-service conformity.

Return and Refund Policy

All returns are shipped at the customers expense, using the shipping method of your choice. We recommend marking any shipments as fragile and/or adding insurance to guarantee your item is returned safely. Please address all returns to the following -

Returns will be accepted within 30 days from the original date of purchase only. Clearance items may not be returned. Items that are damaged, missing parts, dented, not in the original condition, or have obvious signs of use for reasons not due to or seller error are subject to partial refunds or restocking fees of up to 50% of the item’s price. If an item is returned in excessively damaged and unusable condition, a refund will not be processed. If the buyer changes their mind about a purchase and returns an item in the original, like-new condition within the return window, the order is subject to a restocking fee up to 20% of the item’s price.

Once we have received your return, it will be inspected and processed. This process can take up to 7-10 business days. Based on the condition of the returned item(s), a 20% restocking fee, up to 50% may be deducted from your refund. We will notify you if no refund will be processed based on excessive damage and unusable condition. 

Refunds will be processed once all inspections have been completed. Refunds will be processed back to the original form of payment used for the purchase. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to appear on your account.
